What is HVAC Contamination Composed of?
There are many factors that contribute to duct contamination. Most common of course is dust, which itself is comprised of many substances. Pollen, plaster, exfoliated skin, construction debris, drywall dust and fiberglass are just some of the more benign matter that could be bothersome. Dead insects, vermin and other sources of nutrients and moisture can promote the growth of harmful mold, mildew, algae and bacteria.
Upon arrival, a NADCA certified air system cleaning specialist (ASCS) will assess your HVAC system and document any anomalies and recommend proper course.
